2010 is looking bright in the world of The Waxbills. We are currently in pre-production for our 1st official music video for the song "Empty Arms Again" off of our 1st album. We are pretty stoked to be working with film expert ordinaire Kevin Davidson of Brotherloose FILMS as well as long time friend and creative adviser Darryl Gautreau, who will be debuting his directing skills for the project. You can expect several more videos out of us within the next year. Ideally we'd like to make a video for every song. Who knows? We just might!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be playing 2 shows on January 23rd in one of our favourite towns, Sarnia ON. The 1st show will be at The Industry Theatre supporting our friends The Trews. This is an acoustic show and is sold out so we hope if you are reading this and are in Sarnia, that you are a ticket holder already. Directlly following our performance we will be migrating over to Paddy Flaherty's to kick it up with an electric set around 10PM. Hope you can make it out!!
Stay tuned and check back soon, more news to come
